Jack-o'-Lanterns are believed to be popularized in Ireland. Turnips, mangelwurzel or beets were supposedly used. Halloween originated around 1745 and was also known as All Hallows Eve. It is argued over it being of pagan or Christian origin. Halloween activities include carving pumpkins apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, and telling scary stories.
1 Cor 8: 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist , and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.

It's all I can do to catch this critter.Slow and easy wins the race.Hopefully I've captured God's creation
at it's best.. While we are clinging to our own tiny world, wanting our our own tiny results. God is waiting to rewrite us, in His own time and with His own methods.

I noticed the kingfisher on this branch several times. I decided to break a path though to the waters edge and make a small hole for my camera. After pushing through the maze of cob webs, thorns and scrub that I no longer had my glasses. I had to go home for an old pair to find them. After all this fuss within 5 minutes the kingfisher landed on the branch. It was time to settle in and wait for his next arrival.
Job 23:10,11 But he knows the way I take. when he has tried me. I shall come out as gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps. I have kept his way and have not turned aside.

The Orchid festival was held June 1st weekend in
Tobermory. In the forest on road to Singing Sands
you would find marsh marigolds in among the small stream and dense bog Be sure to wear your boots.
We were hoping to see to see a showy lady slipper
but they don't bloom till 2nd or 3rd week of June.
The lakeside daisy is a species at risk.It is a member of the aster family. It grows in shallow soil and is threatened by quarry development.
The yellow lady slipper came out in bloom Jun 1st weekend. It can be found anywhere
along the roads of Bruce Peninsula.
Heb 5:14
But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

It took 3 safari drives to capture the image of a tiger in the wild. He's known as T-28 or Star.
If you look close he has a star on his left cheek. We had the best guides and driver. Dinesh Durrani who once guided Pierre Trudeau on safari. On approximate 25 trips to Ranthambore National park he has always been sucessful in seeing the tiger. Our other guide said not to worry we will see the tiger.
Ranthambore has 5 zones. On our final drive we encompassed parts of 3 zones being though allowed only one zone per drive. We had special status as we were there to photograph the tiger. Near the end drive our guide shouted he saw his tail. All hayem broke loose. We started to get in position and our guide is yelling for other jeeps to get out of the way.as he took control. As we came out of the bush several had pictures by some water. But when I looked he was gone. What happened was a lady fell out of her jeep and was unconsious and they jumped out to rescue her. This spooked the tiger. If this was tiger T - 17 who has tasted human blood the results might be different.
Our driver at the time was shifting gears and we are going in different directions. Our guide repeated don't worry we will see the tiger. We drove past the other jeeps back to the bush and shortly we came upon the tiger laying in the grasses. He laid there for 30 seconds before he growled and got up and retreated into the tall grasses. Thanks goes to James Cowie for arranging the top people in leading this safari.
