creation insights


The Christmas Holiday Train sports thousands of lights. It raises more than two million pounds of food for those in need. May this make you aware of somebody less fortunate than yourself that you can be a bright light to.

Spent some time in North Carolina and Tennessee in early December. The temperatures were mild. We attended the Christmas parade in Gatlinburg.

 The Canada geese were landing to feed on the corn in the field behind our yard.  Just 1/2 mile away hunters have set their decoys. About eight in the morning you can hear gunfire break the silence as the geese come from Wawanosh to the corn field. This lasts about a week each year.

             The Northern Saw-whet Owl is a small earless owl which is nocturnal, spending the day roosting quietly in dense foliage. They are extraordinarily tame and can be approached closely. This picture was taken  in the Perch Creek Nature Trail area.

         Milford Sound is located in Fiords National Park NZ. Mitre Peak is 5060 ft. high . It is one of the highest mountains in world if measured from ocean floor.

          The world seems to cry, "Worship me with your time, your money, your energy, your thoughts, and your life! " But if we are wise we won't fall prey to that temptation

        The mother goldfinch sang for 15 minutes prior to us finding the nest.. The next day we found the male feeding one of the young.

On the way back from park, I found this hawk messing with a 6 inch diameter turtle. He flew up to some hydro wires. I managed to get his picture as he at first didn't want to leave the area
