I noticed the kingfisher on this branch several times. I decided to break a path though to the waters edge and make a small hole for my camera. After pushing through the maze of cob webs, thorns and scrub that I no longer had my glasses. I had to go home for an old pair to find them. After all this fuss within 5 minutes the kingfisher landed on the branch. It was time to settle in and wait for his next arrival.

My foot has held fast to his steps. I have kept his way and have not turned aside.
Congratulations!!! I hope some day to try this. They are really habitual birds, but sooo skittish. Must have felt good to get this one!
